Downstairs
Tables, booths you can sit in without playing a point, a training ball machine, table tennis memorabilia on the walls, and a bar. All of it under the old Tapp’s department store.
The tables
Whether you’ve got a state ranking or you’ve never held a paddle — there’s a table for both, most nights.

The booths
Bench seating along the magenta wall, for the people who came to watch, to wait for a table, or just to sit in the basement for an hour. You don't have to play a single point to be welcome down here.

The ball machine
A solo training ball machine, loaded with orange balls, for working on your own game without needing a partner — or a coach — in the room.

The memorabilia
Framed table tennis posters, the length of the walls. Part clubhouse, part museum of the sport Tripp grew up on — and you play underneath it.
The bar
The room has a bar built into it. As of late 2025, the club was waiting on its beer and wine permit — so don’t come down expecting a drink list just yet. Check with the club directly, or follow @mainstlivingroom for when it opens.
